- 2025 Upgrade & High Accuracy Eventek infrared thermometer gun adopts the latest high-sensitivity temperature sensor, which can measure the temperature range of -58°F~1112°F (-50°C~600°C) in only 0.5 seconds. If you measure the surface temperature of different objects, you can adjust the emissivity (0.1-1.0) according to the surface material to be measured to further improve the accuracy of the infrared thermometer. For best results, the reader should be 14 inches away from the object.

This is a great device for gauging if a pan has come up to temperature when cooking. It reads quite quickly and is simple to use. Given 4 stars as it can be a bit irrational at times and sometimes gives al different readings, so I’m not sure of how accurate it is. I have also compared with our thermapen and there can be some differences, however to provide ann indication of temp, it works ok.

It's simple to use and accurate enough for my pizza making efforts. An infra-red thermometer is used to measure the temperature of the pizza stone on which you will place the pizza to be baked. An air thermometer measures the air temperature of the oven, which bakes the top of the pizza. The oven thermostat measures the air temperature, or you can use an oven thermometer. You should insert the pizza only when the stone and the air temperatures are roughly equal. In my fan oven it takes my pizza stone 40 minutes to reach a temperature of 250 degrees C, whereas the air in the oven takes only 25 minutes to reach 250.

la mesure est quasi instantanee et fiable. Une table de conversion est necessaire si on mesure des elements diffeents tel que du metal, de la nourriture froide ou chaude. Un peu massif en main et tres plastique, comprendre par la qu'il ne tombera qu'une fois, et ce sera poubelle. Logement pile facile, ecran lisible (taille de l'affichage tres bien)

Je l'utilise entre autre pour vérifier le fonctionnement des aerothermes de ma boite (ils sont a 6 metres de haut !).
