Bought this as the one I already own no longer meets my needs. I received a Ooni pizza oven from my son at Christmas and it highly recommended thier own brand of infrared thermometer. When I looked to buy on and noticed the £50 price tag I took note of the specifications of that and checked on Amazon to see if I could find a similar one cheaper. At less than half that price with several additional features this fits the bill nicely. I need one that could read temperatures upto 600°C (my old one only read upto 400°C). Perfect pizzas and a happy family of pizza lovers.

This thermometer gun has been a wonderful addition to my pet cornsnake vivariums! It's perfect for measuring surface temperatures and works exceptionally well. Plus, it's super affordable. While it's easy to use once you get the hang of it, I did find it helpful to read the instructions initially to understand all its features. I encountered a weird bug where it indicated low battery despite being fully charged, but thankfully, it seems to have resolved itself after a few weeks of use. Overall, a great buy for the price! Screen is easy to see.

Bought to measure the temperature of my pizza oven. It was easy to use and quick. It is made of plastic and the measurement significantly changes by small amount of distance so get close to your heat source! Functionally it works complete fine though.

Very useful way of checking the temperature of an item quickly. I found it useful to check the *surface* temperature of walls to see where thermal performance was sub par (useful in hot and cold as you can see if there is heat soak from a loft space, or ingress from the cooler outside). It has a guide on the accuracy of items due to emissivity affecting the readings, which is useful.

Bought this for multiple uses, coffee and milk temp with my barista coffee machine, outside temp of food, very quick and seems very accurate when checked against a milk thermometer.
